Once you reach Brethren of the Coast Reputation Level 2 and defeat Richards, upgrade to the Brig. With 6 cannon slots and 70K+ HP, it handles mid-game naval combat and trading effectively.
The Frigate is the ultimate warship. Requires reaching the Cursed Swamps biome and Reputation Level 4. With 18 cannon slots and 160K+ HP, it dominates end-game content and PvP.
Stock: Balanced stats. Brethren: Tankier with more cargo. Blackbeard: Faster with heavier cannons but less HP. Choose Brethren for PvE, Blackbeard for PvP.
