Accept Quest

Witch Doctor gives you the Kraken Map — final coordinates.

Build Your Fleet

Hire 3 NPC ships (via Merchant class Trade Fleet talent). Each ship must ship 8+ cannons.

Equip Trident Prep

Smith the Trident of the Deep (200 Tumbaga + 100 Steel + 50 Storm Crystal).

Sail to Kraken Lair

Coordinates L9-O9. Bring 4 Spectral Cannons + full repair kits.

Engage the Kraken

Kraken has 800,000 HP. 4 phases. Use Frigate for mobility.

Phase 1: Tentacles

Cut 8 tentacles with the Trident. Each tentacle deals 2% HP/sec to your ship.

Phase 2: Lightning

Kraken calls lightning. Spectral Cannon deals double during this phase.

Phase 3: Ink Cloud

Visibility 0. Spectral Lantern reveals the Kraken's eye.

Phase 4: Death Throes

Kraken enrages. Mount 8 cannons and broadside.

Claim the Loot

Loot: Trident of the Deep + 100,000 Piastre + Kraken Heart (epic trinket).

Pro Tips

Trident of the Deep is the only weapon that cuts Kraken tentacles
Spectral Lantern is REQUIRED for Phase 3
Bring 4 Spectral Cannons — they crit on Kraken phases
