Prerequisites
- Complete "I Need a Bigger Boat" story quest
- Reach Brethren of the Coast Reputation Level 2
- Have a fully repaired Ketch with 3 cannons
- Stock up on Bandages and Healing Herbs
Boss Strategy
Captain Richards sails a heavily armed Brig with 6 cannons and 80,000 HP. His ship is faster than a standard Brig.
Phase 1: Naval Combat
- Keep your distance and use hit-and-run tactics
- Aim for his cannons first to reduce incoming fire
- Use chain shot to slow his ship (if available)
- Repair your ship between volleys
Phase 2: Boarding
- Once his HP is below 30%, board his ship
- Richards uses a Two-Handed Sword - keep your distance
- Use ranged weapons (Musket / Pistol)
- Dodge his heavy attacks and counter during recovery
