Unlike many games that force you to pick sides, Windrose lets you level all four factions simultaneously, which means your reputation management decisions are about pacing, not exclusion. - Brig Blueprint — Requires significant reputation investment. Do not rush this blueprint. The Brig requires materials from the second biome (Foothills), so you will not be able to build it until you have already progressed far enough to access those resources.

Buccaneers

Piastre is your primary currency and it is limited, especially in the early game. Spending it wisely on faction purchases separates efficient progression from wasted time. Here is the recommended priority order:

- Do not rush the Brig blueprint. It requires Foothills materials you will not have early. Spend that Piastre on gear or contracts instead.
- Do not neglect Tortuga Locals. Their bounty Piastre income compounds over time and funds your other faction purchases.
- Do not stockpile Piastre excessively. Piastre only gains value when spent. If you are sitting on a large stash, you are probably missing upgrades that would make your gameplay smoother.
